The Mono Scene is an exciting improv format that will boost your inspiration and storytelling on stage!
One location. Two improvisers. No character changes, no time jumps, no location changes, no time jumps. Just two people in real time. With restrictions that resemble a classic one-act play, Mono Scene puts the theatre back into improvised theatre. It’s all about dynamic relationships, revealing backstories and character growth. This workshop will go over best practices for approaching the format, and give participants the opportunity to dip their toes into a different style of improvising.
The workshop schedule will be: Sunday October 13th 1pm – 8pm with a 1-hour lunch break in between.
